Very tasty food, very nice service and an inviting, cozy atmosphere. The beer garden is also very successful. You can taste and see that the emphasis here is on freshness, quality and in-house production and not cooked with finished products. I would love to come to dinner more often.

Very good food in a cozy atmosphere. We always like to come back to the Waldhorn. Highly recommended, even in Corona times.

However, when I'm sitting in the beer garden, I also expect beer garden prices, of course the battered restaurateurs have to catch up (pandemic), therefore also downsize the menu, etc. I can't understand if I only find high-priced on the menu and experience the beer garden atmosphere .

A ver y good place to hace a lunch or a dinner, dishes are really good on cuantity and of course on quality. Really recommend.

Wonderful traditional Swabian dishes. Everything you try will be excellent and homemade. This mated with the best service and cold beer will provide for a perfect dinner. Room for family and friends while still enjoying a cozy historic atmosphere. Visit and Enjoy!

I liked their traditional course from this region. It was very tasteful and not so heavy. Adding to this grate bear was perfect combination.

On our way home from Easter holidays here. Since it was nice and sunny we stayed outside. We were greeted warmly, the waiters were also in the sun. Our table was dirty but was not wiped off. I ordered a fitness salad with turkey meat ... For 13.50 € you could count the pieces and the tangerine pieces from the tin were so mushy ... almost inedible (I have passed on for the kitchen). My friend has one Schnitzel with mushrooms and cheese baked ... In addition cheese spätzle ... I honestly found the taste not rounded ... too bad ...

Very good middle-class, large inn with good and varied card from all areas of Swabian specialties, but also vegetarian dishes, pleasant ambience, good beer selection, clean and renovated toilets complete the consistently good overall picture. Large hall for festivities of all kinds, so also ideal for weddings. In summer many seats in the beer garden. Good parking in private parking. The Waldhorn is an institution in Plochingen. Trivia: In the past, the delicious Plochinger Waldhornbräu was brewed next door, which unfortunately was no longer lucrative. Because of the nearby cemetery the body water was called. :)

Very friendly and attentive service. Food was delicious even if the card is a bit too extensive. As a non-native it was easy for me to choose .... namely the local specialties. Wine selection was great and very good.

My wife had the maultasche with mushroom and garlic sauce, I had the Unser Teller - Great meal, too bad I was driving - a beer would been great.
